Min Ren, M.D. joined the Eye Centers of Southeast Texas in 2007. Lured by the warm weather of Texas, Dr. Ren immediately fell in love with the Beaumont community. He is dedicated to serve his community by providing exceptional eye care.
Dr. Ren graduated Summa Cum Laude from the University of Iowa. After completing medical school with honors at Iowa, he continued his Ophthalmology training at Tulane University and Baylor College of Medicine. Dr. Ren is a Board Certified Ophthalmologist. He is also a Diplomat of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, and a member of the Texas Medical Association.
Dr. Ren focuses on comprehensive eye care, including the latest techniques in cataract surgery as well as management of glaucoma, diabetic retinopathy, and many other eye diseases. In recent years, with the introduction of new surgical implants for cataract surgery, patient has option of choosing traditional, Multifocal or Toric implants based on individual need. Dr. Ren firmly believes in forming a partnership with patients to determine the best course of treatment, while keeping cataract surgery at a reasonable price.
Either in the operating room or in the clinic, Dr. Ren and his staff holds patient’s care to a high standard. They work hard to make sure there is high quality patient care in a busy practice. Dr. Ren strives to answer any question that may arise during the visit and places an emphasis on educating patient’s eye health.
Dr. Ren is happily married with two lovely daughters. He enjoys spending time working in his yard and reading.
